Innovation Labs
Our Progressive Learning Studio for elementary and junior high schools offers a comprehensive approach to imparting crucial skills required in the contemporary era. The curriculum encompasses aspects of design, problem-solving, imagination, and teamwork.
By leveraging the latest in 3D printing technology, we inspire students to apply their academic aptitude and passion for addressing challenges through imaginative design. Incorporating robotics and crewless aerial vehicles allows students to master programming, automation, and coding principles. Additionally, virtual reality simulations enable students to experience exotic environments and remote locations.
Cyber Safety and Digital Citizenship
The impact of technology on society can be a double-edged sword, with its effects depending on how it is utilized. While some may argue for stricter control and regulation of technology, we at Podar Learn School hold a different viewpoint. Education and empowerment are vital to harnessing technology for positive change rather than simply imposing restrictions.
With this in mind, we have taken a holistic approach to promote responsible technology use. In addition to implementing filters and firewalls to safeguard against harmful content and activity, we also conduct regular cyber safety workshops for students from Standard 5 onwards. These workshops aim to cultivate a culture of responsible technology use and equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to become good "Netizens" – individuals who use the Internet responsibly and ethically. By providing students with the tools to make informed decisions, we hope to help them navigate the digital world safely and positively.
